Directions from the South:

From the New York State Thruway, take Route 12 North.  At Alder Creek, proceed North on Route 28 to Old Forge, 26 miles.  After crossing the bridge in the village take a right at the post office onto Gilbert Street.  Take the next left, on to Park Avenue.  Continue about 2 blocks toward the pond.  Bear right at the sharp curve onto South Shore Road.  We are 4/10 of a mile on the left.

Directions from the North:

Take Route 28 South to Old Forge.  Just past the covered bridge and Information Center, look for Slickers Restaurant (across from McDonalds).  Take a left.  Go to stop sign.  Continue straight ahead.  This becomes South Shore Road.  We are 4/10 of a mile on the left.
